SEED Foundation- NBA All Star Benefit...

The 2010 NBA All Star games in Dallas brought many wonderful and exciting opportunities to the city as well as the Hakim Sons team. One amazing opportunity in particular was our participation in the SEED Foundation’s All Star Benefit function at Marc Events along with Rebecca Hackl and award winning photographer Greg Blomberg.  The SEED Foundation is using sports, specifically basketball, to develop the promising youth of Senegal, so they may become global citizens and lead the positive transformation of Africa.

Kids Matter International, 2010 Annual Gala...

When thinking about an organization that is action oriented, volunteer driven and globally linked, Kids Matter International stands out.  Its mission is to bring healing to orphaned, abandoned or disadvantaged children by providing an environment where they can grow stronger emotionally and physically, so they may become healthy adults and productive citizens of their nations.  Hakim Sons Films had the great honor to film the 2010 Kids Matter International Gala at the Hilton Southlake, which raised hundreds of thousands of dollars with its motto “Whether around the world, or around the Block……..KIDS MATTER!!!”
