More than 700 guests filled Park Place Motorcars Dallas’ showrooms and client lounges as Modern Luxury Dallas magazine revealed their 12 “Fresh Faces of Fashion.” Park Place used the opportunity to unveil the new 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK, the exciting new compact, luxury crossover SUV.
Park Place Motorcars also made a $10,000 donation to the Suicide and Crisis Center of Dallas. Showcasing a bold exterior design, generous cargo capacity, and Mercedes-Benz’ 4MATIC permanent all-wheel-drive, the GLK combines the perfect balance of styling, versatility, and performance. A steeply-raked windshield and integrated rear spoiler on its tightly styled roof suggests power and agility. And the GLK delivers.
Modern Luxury Dallas recognized a dozen ladies who possess an amazing sense of style as “Fresh Faces,” including Amber Batlett, Deanna Cahill, Amanda Callahan, Sara Fay Egan, Elizabeth Ho, Antonio Hubert, Lacey Liedtke, Abigal Powell, Marcelle Purdy, Lauren Shuford, D’Andra Simmons and Rachel Trowbridge. Renowned florist Shane Walker immersed the showrooms in hot pink floral accents. Go Fish, Ocean Club and Dallas Fish Market provided fresh sushi and crab cakes. Wendy Krispin Caterering coordinated service and passed hors d’oeuvres. The Cake Ball Company enticed guests with a variety of delectable cake balls.
The Suicide & Crisis Center has been in continuous operation in Dallas since 1968, providing a 24-Hour Crisis Line, the Survivors of Suicide (SOS) support group program, Crisis Debriefing Services, In-Service Training seminars for schools, hospitals, and other professionals dealing with high-intensity crisis, and a?Speakers’ Bureau.
