Today I read an article on one of our favorite bridal blogs, Bridal Buzz by D Magazine. Here’s advice from a bride talking about the importance of having a filmmaker at the Rehearsal Dinner along with the Wedding Day.
Thanks to Andrea Hugg Kavanagh for this week’s wedding wisdom: “Your wedding is the most special day of your life, and you spend months and countless hours planning ever single detail. Make sure you hire a fantastic photographer and videographer to capture every moment, so that you can cherish the memories for a lifetime and pass them down to generations to come. Our photographer took the time to get to know my husband, Ken, and me personally before our wedding, and because of that she was able to capture our love and our personalities in the pictures – engagement, bridal portrait, rehearsal dinner and of course, the wedding. Our videographer did an amazing job as well. He and his assistant were true artists in the way they captured and edited the entire wedding, including the bride, groom and attendants getting ready for the big event. He also provided a beautiful 12-minute “highlights” video that can be viewed online and shared amongst friends. My only regret is that we did not have our videographer at our rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal dinner was an intimate gathering of our closest friends and family, and the toasts that were made were touching, heart-felt and inspirational. It would have been so wonderful to have captured them on video.” (Source: Bridal Buzz by D Magazine)
