Chemistry is Key!

We have stressed over and over to our brides that chemistry is key with their wedding filmmaker. Chemistry is crucial because they’ll be spending many hours, if not days, with us, their filmmakers.

We start off by inviting each one of our clients to our studio or for a conference call, so we can learn about them and they can learn about us. We love what we do and therefore, we share our passion with our clients. We invite them to come to our studio to see what we do and how we do it. We want to ensure that each one of our brides is a good fit for us and we’re a good fit for them. They are commissioning a team of artists and we want them to experience our art.

Once couples have commissioned a filmmaker, they should set up an appointment to meet their filmmaker prior to the wedding. We meet with our brides and grooms whenever it is convenient for them, and have even had meetings via Skype for our clients across the globe.

There are a variety of questions couples must ask of themselves and of their filmmaker during the first appointment:

  • Do you want the wedding film to be more documentary or cinematic in style?
  • How should the wedding story be conveyed through the film?
  • What are the most important elements to have documented?
  • Will the film crew have backup equipment, etc?

It’s important to make sure they not only click with their filmmaker, but also that they explain what is extremely important to capture. Below is a film with some of our past brides talking about their experience with our studio.
