To kick off their journey as husband and wife, Rachel and Gregory chose the Rosewood Mansion at Turtle Creek. The bride strode gently down a winding staircase to greet her future husband who stood at the bottom, waiting anxiously. This couple opted for a blend of traditional and chic customs to personalize their big day.
The bride and groom took part in a hand fasting ceremony, in which they “tied the knot” with a sash from the gown of the bride’s mother. And although the wedding took place in Texas, there was a touch of nostalgia because the décor was reminiscent of scenery from the couples’ native states: Michigan and Minnesota.
At the reception, Rachel and Gregory said goodbye to the traditional cake and instead cut into a delectable arrangement of red velvet cupcakes.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gaskin and thank you for allowing us to be part of your celebration!
